 LIGHTS! CAMERA! ACTION!There are many facets to TV advertising. Many of you have heard the term infomercial. By definition the FTC considers that a program 14 minutes in length or longer is considered an infomercial. This is known as long form advertising. Short form is considered anything less than 14 minutes. The basic TV commercial formats, for generating leads or product sales, in use these days, are 30 seconds, 60 seconds, 120 seconds and 30 minute. Deciding on what length a commercial should be, is solely determined by the product and your overall sales objective.
